WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT
STEM Ambassadors who are willing to lead a 25 minute interactive activity with groups of up to 15 students are invited to showcase an exciting element of their job/industry/ research/interest in any STEM field. We really want to focus on the workshops being interactive, as this is what gets the most positive feedback and keeps the children engaged throughout. The session could be led by an individual ambassador or a group from the same company. You will repeat the workshop to different schools 4-6 times throughout the day with a break for lunch. We also hope you could provide the students with leaflets about your company/ your career – to really emphasise the “work “part of it.
School Group Facilitator:
You’ll be paired with a school group and spend the day visiting the different workshops with them. You will take part and encourage the students to get involved. There will be chance for you to talk about your job or career route if you would like too.
